Livingston Parish Airport is Hammond Municipal Airport and Hammond Northshore Airport.

Hammond Municipal Airport is located 2 1/2 miles east of downtown Hammond. Hammond Municipal Airport operates an average of 120 Aircraft operations per day. 49% of these operations are local general aviation, 33% transient general aviation, 16% military, and 2% air taxi. Its 765 acre dual runway facility, with two 5,000 foot hard surfaced runways can accommodate turbo jet aircraft up to 60,000 lbs. gross weight, and other general aviation aircraft of 12,500 lbs. or less.

There are 108 Aircraft based on the field, 76 Single engine airplanes, 16 Multi engine airplanes, 6 Jet airplanes, and 4 Helicopters. 63% of these operations are transient general aviation, 23% local general aviation, 9% air taxi, 4% commercial, and 1% military. There are 63 Aircraft based on the field, 50 Single engine airplanes, 8 Multi engine airplanes, 3 Jet airplanes, and 2 Helicopters. This exceptional basic transport airport has electronic ground control systems, ILS also known as instrument landing system, VOR known as variable omni-directional range, and VASI, to assist in landings and takeoffs in all conditions. Other services offered at Hammond Municipal Airport include FBO (General Aviation/Top Gun Aviation), Flight Instructors, New Orleans Aircraft Propellers, Inc., parking aprons to accommodate approximately 195 single, light twin and corporate jet aircraft, approximately 50 acres for new hanger construction, and 120 acres for industrial development.

Hammond Northshore Regional Airport is conveniently located off of Interstates 55 and 12, just 55 miles north of New Orleans, 45 miles east of Baton Rouge, and 90 miles west of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. As the largest general aviation reliever airport in the north shore area of Lake Pontchartrain, airfield is over 900 acres and is open to general, corporate, and military aircraft. Their dual lighted runways measure 6500x100 and 5001x150 and are fully equipped to handle large aircraft. Currently, over 90-based aircraft operate on the field. Also located on the airfield is unimproved land for development by corporate or private aviation individuals.
